ABOUT ELY
Consultant | Coach | Creative Strategist & Nervous System Informed Guide
Ely grew up in New York City’s Meatpacking District. An 80s baby, he experienced the neighborhood before its transformation — when the streets were known for grit and character. His childhood was split between concrete and countryside, shared between the city and rural Vermont, where he learned to slow down and connect with nature. That balance of urban energy and country calm brings a unique lens to his practice today. Ely connects naturally with a wide range of individuals and organizations, no matter the phase of development.
The youngest of three, Ely had two older sisters who kept him on his toes. His parents, through thick and thin, built a foundation of love, curiosity, and trust that continues to guide him.
Athletics were always part of his life — anything that involved movement, challenge, or a little adrenaline. From team sports in the city to building tree houses in the Green Mountains, Ely has always felt most alive in motion.
Perhaps surprisingly, Ely also excelled in academics and organizational development — a path that took him all over the world, offering him an incredible network and a wide range of experience. Inspired by his own personal journey and a clear need that emerged through his consulting work, he recently returned to school to deepen his understanding of psychology and mental health. He now brings this lens into his consulting practice.
From lobster boats to boardrooms, Ely strives to be a valuable asset — supporting organizational growth, individual goals, and the inevitable cross-section where the two meet.
